Handala in Inis Oírr
May 2026Artist Peloloca is installing a series of geo-specific Handala sculptures in different parts of the world as beacons of solidarity with Palestine. Each sculpture is hand-built using clay from the local region, connecting Palestine to all indigenous land struggles across the globe.
In the last week of May 2026, Peloloca will install a Handala sculpture on Inis Oírr during the Drop Everything weekender.
We are looking for a ceramic studio to host the artist to build and fire the sculpture over a period of 3 weeks in May 2026.
